Obtaining all your supplies is just the start when it comes to model railroading. The next step is to do the landscaping with the help of foam spacers. They can be shaped to the design you’d like and then sealed with a fiberglass or hardener to protect them. A wire frame can be used to reinforce a larger landscape and some modelers will even bring in sand, dirt or stone for a more realistic look.

After getting all your supplies together you need to form your terrain, which is often done by placing foam spacers and carving them to achieve the desired results, then coating those with a plaster, fiberglass or other sealer to harden them. Radio control model aircraft make an interesting pastime for a lot of people. These small planes have the ability to perform complex maneuvers in the air, not unlike their full-sized brethren. Many of these planes, especially the smaller variants, can be flown in your yard or at the park.
